| | A Lunch, at Great Fosters Hotel, Stroud Road, Egham, Surrey. Monday 12 October 2009.
In memory of Matthew Lyne, who died of Leukaemia aged 17 in March 2009.
The Lunch began with a champagne reception followed by a three course lunch with entertainment from a Frank Sinatra impersonator and surprise singing waiters!
During the afternoon there were guest speakers including researcher Dr Adam Mead and publicist Max Clifford who gave a very moving speech. The afternoon concluded on a lighter note with a very entertaining auction and raffle compered by Bobby Davro. There were some fabulous auction prizes and people gave very generously with donations and ticket sales raising £5000 for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
Thank you to all those who gave their help and support to this event and to the huge generosity of people who have offered their time, help and prizes.
